The Sun Rays

The sun is peeping out the sky to greet the rainclouds goodbye, the rainbows are sweating in the sweltering heat and the cargo ships are loaded and ready for the next fleet, tension is raising high and the billows are disappearing from the sky. I had these unsettled feelings that have slowly creeped up in my stomach and has caused some discomfort. I have no appetite to sing or to listen to the promiscuous hymn, the world is changing in my eyes but I am not ready to die. I have this motivated zeal inside and the courage and will to live, I have taken so much from the mirror and the days of my youth; my memory is packed with the vision of life and upon this I have to rely. Here we are again playing the same game over again. The sun is mesmerizing the sky and the clouds are rolling by. The moon is standing firm and the stars are in place to guide the weary traveler as the night journey with the day. We met infamous bandits on the way, hiding in the trenches and stealing the visitor’s purse in broad daylight. Th sun rays lit up the places shining new light in all the face, the children are running around with glee while the water is boiling in the black sea. The youth scout Jamboree in the Asian south is packed with doubt, multitudes of tents spread out on the ground while the blazing heat baked the earth, scorched the trees as it intensified over a hundred degree. People are angry, the children are falling sick, and thousands have left the site because they were not prepared to die. The sun is doing another round, burning the interior of Spain, drain the water out of Greece scattering the people in the street. Italy has experience it too and, in the Caribbean, where it should rain the sun has dried up the water and many people are walking around in shame The sun is drenching the streams and melting my holiday dreams, I have to walk around with covers on my head or the heat will bake me like bread. The water is hot and I cannot gallivant in my new frock, I sit in the same space everyday staring in the mirror and watching water springing from my face absorbing in the thirsty ground around me. The sun rays beyond the sky whether in Sweden, California or the British plains will change your circumstance, and your life will not be the same; the sun rays are shining on me and you but whatever you do, you must continue to be true.
