Cute backstory. Enjoyed the moral (and the un-moral.) Each has its perfect place.

Perfect ending for this excellent "Life with a Twist" poem, Gershon. There is a Jason Mraz song in which the moon has to borrow light from the sun. Your verse reminded me of that, though here it's God who gives the moon some stars to help light the earth. Great entry for Charlie's contest! Best wishes for a great win. Hugs, Carolyn

Hmmmm I guess that must be when they have 24hrs. of daylight in the Northwest Territories and Alaska. Ofcourse when it's winter they have 24hrs. of darkness too. I lived there and in summer we had to have thick curtains so we could sleep. Well done Gershon. Good luck in the contest. I like this clever piece. JB
