The Stream

I'm swept away
Carried in a stream of consciousness 
Pulled along connected and opposing thoughts
Concussed by revelations

Pulled beneath the current
To the depths of understanding
Rising to the surface
Churned in heartache
Wrapped in passion
Bouncing off rocks of indecision

Grasping at straws along the shore
Letting go
Overpowered 
Getting that sinking feeling
Being lifted 
Oh what a ride
Heading to open water
Mixing 
All thoughts become one
Stillness
Tranquility
Thankful
Returned to the source
