The Start
Awaking each day greatly awed to what's in store
Birds that chirp and sing at my back door
Clouds that constantly change from whispy, gray
Dart or stay cover the sky or float away
Every created natural item brings changes each day
For our hearts to enjoy and make our spirits play
Geese that migrate mark the way to watch for Spring
Happy the day that they fly by to us bring
Interesting colors shades of green dappled by sun
Just placed in the sky angled right for everyone
Kangaroos jump and bounce carry their young roos
Lovingly in their container of safety a pouch snooz
Monkeys that dominate the trees eating fruit and love
Nibling all day on the tasty provisions from above
Octopi that swim in the sea, black ink they spray
Protection screen from their enemies who prey
Quail a bird that mates for life
Respect for his love that does suffice
The finish
Slow snail sliding across the plant leaf
Tongue gripping, teeth chewing every piece
Until I understood your life I didn't like
Virtually anything about you especially the bite
With those teeth destroying my plants
Xanthic shell with brown so like a seashell enhanced
Yak of Tibet so like a cow but very different
Zebra your difference from a horse or donkey no accident
