The Spring
Just a little spring that bubbled out from 'neath a stone
She knew the rock was steadfast, she traversed away, alone
She traveled 'cross the country toward a lush and awesome bay
Joined with other Springs small offerings, and Rivers on her way
And then in awesome wonder as she heard the seagulls call
She with the mighty waters of the others, without stall
Giving in to wonder at the beauty of the sea
And with their many voices to the Sea, Humanity
She was Just a little spring, bubbled out from 'neath a stone
She's traversed 'way, but soon she'd found, she'd never be alone
The stone had never chosen her, but had she chose that stone?
From Heaven's secret mysteries, a mission course her own?
She visited the oceans, then back to the stone as rain,
Then flowed onward toward the rivers, and to the sea again!
The spring left gentle marks upon that stone where she'd sprung forth
Westward Ocean's waters gifted back to the far North
She was very busy on a path from the depths of time
Along life's gift of wonder from a Love source quite Divine
