The Spirit of Wakefulness
What creates the poverty of spirit?
Sometimes it is family, friends, and other
ones who plant the seed of doubt, perhaps
depression at best. Sometimes it is indeed
ourselves that bars our own climb into the
sublime concerning this journey that we are
all on.
There can be the pain of how our mind operates
in the land of thoughts.
The fulfillment of dreams needs to have one desire,
the spirit of discernment of other people's true motives
when they sow the seeds of fear.
The courage it takes to correct these mistakes of
negative thinking is to gain the heart of newness and learn
to be truthful and transparent with God and ourselves also.
In exploring life's possibilities there is the betterment and
fulfillment of hopes and dreams; forgiveness must be
included in the equation.
No matter what other people do or say we must forgive
them and love them where they are in life's process.
The rapture of being alive is good.
I don't want to be haunted by what might have been.
To make peace with my own self won't go away.
I open up to experience divine joy which is manifesting
itself anyway.
