The sparkles of your
Eyes
Ignited the passion in my
Heart 
That burst into the flames of 
Love 
And consumed my very soul!

My dearest, you are right! A poet is born! Degrees cannot teach anyone to become a poet just helps him understand poetry! Poetry is innate quality of the soul. I was writing poetry since primary school! Thank you though for your generous comment!

Oh, I love the way this poem is set up! A very creative and clever take on the progression of love. Also, thank you so much for your comment on my poem "The Philosopher." I am so honoured that a Philosophy prof enjoyed it! :)

Yes, my wife's eyes are just like that my friend! They have the same effect on me whenever I look into them lovingly, they create a union between out souls that ignite, and as you said "burst into the flames of Love!" This is a masterful poem, I just loved reading this effective piece this morning! What a powerful poem, Great Work!!
