The Skye Boat Song

from Starz series, "Outlander", a book series written by,: Diana Gabalden

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone say could that lass be I? Merry of soul she sailed on a day over the sea to Skye Billow and breeze, islands and seas Mountains of rain and sun All that was good all that was fair all that was me is gone Sing me a song of a lass that is gone say could that lass be I? Merry of soul she sailed on a day over the sea to Skye Billow and breeze island and seas mountains of rain and sun

All that was good all that was fair all that was me is gone

The Skye Boat Song from Starz series, "Outlander", a book series written by,: Diana Gabalden Find me a lad that will give me his hand protect me with body and soul Blood of my blood, bone of my bone He vows in the Gailic of old Here is my heart, here is my hand, Here is my silver band Love of my heart love of my soul you're my lass and I am your man

I enjoyed reading your lovely write. It is the first time I have heard/read about this. This would make lovely wedding vows. If the first line was changed to, You are my loving lad an now you are giving me your loving hand to protect me with body and soul. "Good Luck" Have a wonderful day week to come writing away...........

I love that song! And your adaptation rings true to the heart of the original Crystol. Yes, I'll bet she's a Bonnie fine lass to be had and held! Aye
