The Sky Is Crying

lover #1 haiku:

           falling snow

                flowing like angry tears

                   the sky is crying

lover #2 tanka

        moods dependant on

           whim of fickle nature

                foolishly expressed

        even storms are beautiful

when they are shared by two.

Your title made me start singing the "Stevie Ray Vaughn" songs with the same title. Good luck in Debbie's contest with this lovely poem Francine....:)

Hey, this is really cool, Francine. which is the guy and which is the girl? I was guessing the girl gave the haiku message but now I think maybe I am wrong! Good luck in the contest and thanks again for the HM!

You did a great job with this theme Francine. The sky may be crying but the last two lines left me smiling. Good luck in the contest. Best to you, Diane

Oh, that's lovely and so true, Francine. Nature is fickle, but true love never falters. It's really fun to snuggle with a loved one and watch lightning as a storm rages outside. Best wishes in Deb's contest! Love, Carolyn
