The sighs of Supernova

"Don't get lost in your pain, know that one day your pain will become your cure." ~ Jalaluddin Rumi
The moon wept over withered stars mirroring the heartbeats of mourning blues, oblivious to the warmth of dusky truth, while I bite my lips to suppress the storm, there, in the soul of the butterfly skyline, I’ve hand-stitched chronicles of the ache that dreams like midnight orchids, cradling confused crevices~ like stone breeze drifting in coldness, questioning the need to breathe love, when all I’ve written is marked as myth~ a manipulative vine of twisted nightshade. But remember, I’ll be the eucalyptus elixir, the sighs of supernova, soaring to speak~ metaphors beyond the skin of blue comets, forevermore…

This is a beautiful reply to your detractors. At the end, you show your resolve not to be dissuaded by efforts that prevent you from breathing love. You will continue to speak in metaphors and will soar high. "in the soul of the butterfly skyline, I’ve hand-stitched chronicles of the ache that dreams like midnight orchids," A very powerful metaphor. Even your image is so metaphorical. Please know that aches and opposition help us teach resilience. Beautiful as ever. Congratulations on your top win.

IE, you've indicated something very profound to me. Indeed, the way we look at things that make us sad allows us to transform our pain into pleasantness. I might think it is all words and not a real possibility, but with the right "elixir" there's no question that we can exist in a higher state. I am wondering if you have experienced this yourself. I sincerely hope that you and all have had this experience and found the ultimate antidepressant...the way to look at things. Smiles!!

This is very intriguing - your phrasing and word choice - I love original metaphor, and though many folks get carried away with their thesaurus, you’ve created some marvelous descriptive pictures! A thesaurus is one of my favorite tools, but I think many people forget that creative word use still has to ‘make sense’, lol. I just love this, and the thrust of not necessarily overcoming pain, but learning that it leads us to verity and growth … and even beauty. Nicely done, Dear Poet! :o) <3

Dear Empress, such a constellation of ache and resilience, a moonbeam stitching beauty into the night’s confusion. Today I feel your storm and your longing, but also your wild, myth-defying hope. I love the midnight orchids and eucalyptus elixir especially when I need to breathe. For love, even questioned, is always worth writing for.. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

This is stunning, sis, and so beautifully metaphoric. I was especially struck by “I’ve hand-stitched chronicles of the ache that dreams like midnight orchids.” Your language has such a richness that oozes celestial quality, and don't get me started with the depth of emotions you've managed to weave into every line. A masterpiece of poetic prowess penned to perfection. Another fav : )

Dearest Ink, this is an excellent poem about the interplay of sadness, yearning, and the changing power of love and creation. The artwork conveys a sense of sorrow and prayer, implying that while dealing with complex emotions, you remain hopeful and resilient. I like your well-chosen diction, which is expressive and rich in metaphorical imagery. Words like "wept," "withered," "storm," and "pain" evoke sadness and hardship, but words like "eucalyptus elixir" and "sighs of supernova" offer aspects of healing and transcendence. Constance will undoubtedly enjoy it, and I'm sending you warmest vibes

Oh, perish the thought of withering stars, and the supernova cries. The moon would assuredly mourn in shades of blue. I'm aware of the poisonous nightshade... A fine write, Ink.
