The Sheet Off the Portrait

The sheet is off the portrait
and the Dorian no longer gray –
it’s all about power, and greed
that’s on display –

little thought really of color
outside their mandate to  
encourage greater divide – 
more truth are in the shades
long steadily on the rise…

We are a blended society,
in our hearts and in our 
deeds; though evil controls
the voices – most media 
intent at causing injurious 
stampedes – News abdicating 
information for paychecks – 
cashed while
innocence bleeds –

Debbie Guzzi September 21, 2020 at 2:52 PM The world & in particular the USA is in a very sad state, we are no longer a Democratic Republic, we are a cross between an oligarchy ( a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.) and a dictatorship, gird your loins. That's the truth.
