The She-Wolf Was Prettily Dressed
The she-wolf was prettily dressed,
Looked human in her human-clothes
None of the jurors could have guessed,
Unless they had her she-wolf nose.
Looking unassumingly sweet,
The she-wolf was prettily dressed.
Crisp, calm and surprisingly neat,
Natural tendencies repressed,
I think she’s guilty one expressed.
Other jurors fell off their chairs.
The she-wolf was prettily dressed.
She met them calmly with her stares.
Clutching their sides in laughing glee,
Laughing hard at the juror’s jest,
She’s as guilty as you and me!
The she-wolf was prettily dressed.
