The Season of Love
No matter the frost of a cold Winter’s night
No matter a white laden snow
A season is more than a calendar’s right
It’s more than a snowball to throw
And though there’s a flower to welcome in Spring
A breeze that is kissed by the sun
It’s not just the breezes that touch everything
To make the world’s hearts beat as one
For though beaches beckon to shuffle the sand
When Summer indeed takes a bow
And Fall contemplates on the harvest at hand
There is yet another somehow
At holiday time, yet not checked by a date
A season there is high above
At Christmas for sure but it’s never too late
Rejoice in the season of love
