Notes About The Poem

the sea beckons

the sea lures me
    as waves run
         one after another

splashes over the silvery sand
    and moving shingles
          slow tide flows inwards
                holding me
                      in its spell

 crabs are carried
towards the deep salty sea

I stand mesmerised
      listening
                  to its melodious thrill.
seagulls invite me

I just jump into the sea.

Dearest Victor, your poem is like a breath of fresh, salty air! The way the poet captures the sea's hypnotic pull is so immersive—it's easy to imagine being right there, feeling the waves and hearing the seagulls. The flow of your words mirrors the rhythm of the tide, It’s a perfect blend of calm and energy, making you want to dive right in...Hugs
