The Scars You Bare

The scars you bear is a story that has been told. Of battles fought, of courage bold. They etch a map upon your skin, A testament to strength within. Feminine you, in every way, Your spirit shines, a brighter day. No missing breast, no fallen hair, Can dim the light that's always there. For beauty lies not in the form, But in the soul, weathering the storm. You are a woman, strong and true, Your essence radiant, shining through. Let shallow minds and cruelest eyes, Be lost in darkness, filled with lies. Their venom stings, but cannot touch, The inner fire is loved so much. So, rise above, with head held high, Embrace the you, that cannot die. The most beautiful you, it's plain to see, A masterpiece of bravery. For karma's hand, it has its sway, And those who judge will surely pay. Shine on, dear one, with grace and might, Your feminine soul, let it shine bright. 2020
