The Sacrifice
Never forget it was the Savior’s sacrifice
So long ago in that bleak, forbidding land.
When saddened by the inexplicable price,
Never forget it was the Savior’s sacrifice
Denied by one of his own, Simon Peter, thrice
Delivered from the grave by God’s own hand.
