The Rocks
Beauty - I see the rain splash
Pouring down on the beauteous rocks
Waterfalls they swarm too over the rocks
I stand on solid ground - I see
The beauty of how they comfort me
They are strong - I am strong
They develop with age - I develop with age
A fossil - beauteous with time
It matures - I age - I mature
God's listening silently to the trickle
Caps they produce with the waves
And the rocks in the ocean astound me
I too am a rock! I am solid
I harden - I block the paths
I make decisions - I walk a different way
Yet they block the water flowing
I see a coincidence - beauteous be - Hence!
I have made up my mind - the treacherous waters
I endeavor - I hold myself dear
And I talk - I talk to God
He listens- He put me here...
