The Rock and the River

The rock and the river.

My friend is this river.
My companion and foe.
Destined to feel its
Eternal flow.

I felt your power,
Your strength, your test.
For you have helped shape me,
In length, with no rest

Its thunder is constant.
Its beauty is clear.
Here, there is magic
In this atmosphere.

Our relationship has presence,
You’ve always been dear.
Your waters that pass here,
Can be ours loves tear.
