The Reverend Listens

I spoke with Reverend Laura today.

She listened curiously
more than merely patiently,
actively
more than barely politely,
as I noticed her questions
in this sacred space
of co-empathic listening,
dialogue,
discussion,
discernment

Of where we are heading
and behinding,
progressing
and healing,
to speak with other Reverends
and Doctors
and Nurses

and impassioned Environmentalists
and LeftBrain Dominant,
stern,
BusinessAsUsual Investors,
and Trump Nationalistic Right to be Wrong Loyalists,
and other LeftBrain rabidly viral
AnthroEcentrics,
public cooperative win/win virtuous health systemic
Denialists,
All or Nothing bipolarizing
totalitarian saint or sinner Fundamentalists,

Longing to 20/20 re-vision
re-connect
re-ligion
re-generate
cooperative win/win ego/eco-systemic
multicultural valued interfaith Climates
of public
private
mental
physical
mind/bodied restorative Peace
and EarthJustice
healthiest wealth prospects
for curious and courageous
community redevelopment.
