The Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:12-19

If Christ was proclaimed resurrected
By some who, before, didn't believe
What of those who strongly objected
And called it a mass fantasy
His tomb closely guarded by soldiers
Whose sleeping would cost them their lives
They'd let no one near it, moreover
Arrest anyone who dared try
And yet with the third morning's breaking
The large sealing stone had been moved
Prodigiously, that Rock of Ages
Provided the world with its proof
Some soldiers who witnessed the wonder
Would come to know Christ as their Lord
The miracle, not Roman blunder
Was a pact to unlock Heaven's door
Yet, if truly the Lamb has not risen
The Gospels were written in vain
The tenets of Christian religion
Have all been a sham and a shame
Were Christ born for earthly life only
Without resurrection for man
The entire religion is phony
And God has been mocked in His plan
But let not your mind endure struggles
Not even as life nears its end
For Christ rose and banished your troubles
And the good life has yet to begin
