The Reason Is -

it snowed and snowed on the day I was born and for that reason I love falling snow; in dreams, I walk the frozen woods till morn and from my pen the words just drip and flow. And from a child, I was quiet and odd choosing to read old books and write my words; I would wander in nature and be awed loving the songs and beauty of sweet birds. _______________________ May 3, 2017 (Edit from March 2016) Rhyme/ Iambic Pentameter/The Reason Is Copyright Protected, ID 897731 For the contest, Rhymed, Metered Poem sponsor, Janice Carnedy _____________________ Rhyme Scheme - abab cdcd Rhyming - checked on Rhymezone.com Syllables- checked on HowManySyllables. com

A Very well crafted piece, Constance! It's such a pity that most of us have lost that connection to nature! Best of luck
