the reason i press on

as the day presses on
i find myself in an oasis or two
with you
surrounded in an ocean
centered in seas of moments
that slowly assault the shore
roll back and into one another
a relentless tide, ever deepening
riptides of arms intertwined
upon the seas, sails unfurled we are
tailwinds absorbed in destiny
a helm held in duality of solidarity
o my captain, o my first mate
woven into the fabric we are
it is in these sanctuaries
i find my refuge
the reason i press on
with the day
it holds an oasis in you

You certainly have valid reason/s to press on, Timothy. I know how it feels to find an oasis in somebody special. ~ Regards // paul

that we share as such is greatness in life's gifts.....that such exists in the limns of others....1 Peter 4:10–11: Each person should use whatever gift they have received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
