The Raindrop
Fool's gold
What should have been green
The county so dry was painful to see
Waited a whole year for this trip
Our Perseids date
The first thing we did
Was run into the lake
It was all we could do
We danced
An all out splash dance
Praying to seed the clouds with our spray
And to our dismay the rains came
We missed the shooting stars
But got our wish
And will always relish
The night we banished the drought
Doing The Raindrop
