The Quiet One

The Quiet One

I'm the girl with the dark brown eyes
You don't notice the pain my smile belies
I'm not in your circle, I'm a friend of none
You only know me as...the quiet one

With each passing day, I've learned to accept
That no one will know of these secrets I've kept
I want to be brave, but I've nowhere to run
What would you expect from...the quiet one

I scream in silence, for there's no one to hear
You pass me in the hall, unaware of my fear
There's no escape, until my sentence is done
How do you think I became...the quiet one

So sad for the quiet ones who can’t share the secrets of their hearts for whatever reason. Well written Tina… Belle

How do you think I became the quiet one? Many around us still seem not to understand that alot in this world push us to a dark silent world. Thank you for for the great piece of writing.

Often the quiet ones are the ones if you took the time had something that was worth hearing. Not idle chit chat or how about this weather but deeper dives Into what we all fear not belonging, not Conforming, cause every human being has feared this at some time.Well Written little girl.I just recalled whizzing along with you on the handlebars of my bike. You were fearless.
