The Pterodactyl God is Dead

Ten billion hungry insects won't rest till fed,
a relentless army, by their god led,
the holy pterodactyl head.
I heard what the newspaper said,
but don't allow yourself to be misled,
the beast lies sleeping. It is not dead.

Army ants, the hour is growing late,
don't let this be your eternal fate,
we know the pterodactyl head is great.
because when our fathers finished their plate,
it was the pterodactyl that they ate.

You talk of a Dianasaurus. I know because I'm a Brontesaurus. Well said, O little antesaurus.
