The Power of Love

The Power of Love

Everybody’s got something to give
And lessons to learn
Often
In the thick of things
When hope is gone
When horror consumes
One’s mind and his existence

When I look back
Fear in its intensity surround me
Even now it feels like a nightmare
Among dreams

Open up your eyes
Do not be despised
To Ill will and disguise

The devil is alive
In people’s hearts and in their minds
Blinding you with the spell of charm
Which they call love, romance

Calculated to the very detail
A game of no limitation
Lost to the girl living in a fantasy world

Redemption from the Lord above
And forgiveness of the self above all else

Has been the one remedy for my heart to do its work

It could have been worst
But I survived
To learn that love and trust
Is magnified beyond the limits of this world
To the kingdom of God
