The Power of a Woman
Biting her full lips
Her sweet strawberry breath
warms the air around us
The breeze of her conversation
dances across my face
Interrogating my tastebuds into life
Her simple touch electrifies my skin
As my whole world spins
amid the whirl of dizzying senses
The utter beauty of her visage
Barely inches from my own
Convinces me that I am completely hers
And then, as I realise
That my breathing has all but ceased
I am brought back to reality
She gently squeezes my arm;
“It’s all over now, Sir -
Your wisdom tooth is out!”
