God is the source of all divinity possessing all the attributes to perform showing that He indeed is God alone enabling His own to defeat any storm Peter speaks of us as God's very own showing that we have all we need to display real true godly living coming from his fruit-bearing seed For this to bring indeed reality true we require knowledge down from above instilled in us by God's holy spirit showing real evidence of His true love God is so good and glorious in such a display to call His own us who are sinners now but saved this His son Jesus did to fully atone The power of a godly life this we have we humbly believe Peter assures us this we now know may we walk so never to leave ("His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.") 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
