The Poet of Portleen

There was a poor poet from Portleen,
He wrote a haiku that he thought keen.
But he used upper case,
And sadly lost face,
And never has since been seen.

I just read your Soup mail, come here and there's Andrea busting us! (we are good friends off Soup though many states apart.) Your limerick is perfect, I must save it because it's somewhat personal!! I do not have a limerick gene in me, I stare at the paper, that's it. This is good.

after I posted it I thought...I hope CayCay doesn't see this the wrong way...better email her and make sure. Sadly, I've been misunderstood a lot...probably goes for most of us...a poet's heart is sometimes hard on the poet...

it was a joke on myself. A friend was kind enough to soupmail me and let me know about the haiku standard...a form I honestly never used much although I have always liked them...odd that but true.
