The Plump Reds

Nurtured you in the past, Always made me jump in joy, Always drew me a big smile, In the dawn of a hopeful sign, But then, As I began to count my chicks, You began to nod down south, Guarded you with my dear life, Spawned you with loving words, Shone you with bright rays of glory, Spooned you with vitamins in cups, But, Your will to live, Never shout any victory, Today, I walk a different stride, I've dug out your buried secrets, So I shall not fall in my try, I'm armed with the right artileries, So I shall soon hold those plump reds, Proudly in my palms, And we shall take a selfie, Together, cheering my victory, My dear, dear tomato tree,
