The Place Where I Go
It takes a long drive to get there,
out in the middle of no where,
out here you won't find the glow of neon lights,
just the stars and the moon shining ever so bright,
At night you won't hear the noise of busy city streets,
just the crickets chirping a lullaby that sounds so
sweet,
When you go for a walk you'll realize that your
not walking on conrete,
just dirt and gravel under your feet,
I just love the smell of freedom in the air,
and the fact that i have plenty of time to spare,
i come here quite often to escape the stress of the
everyday mess,
and no one will ever know the place where i go
