Pathya Vat is a very lovely and melodic form of poetry. I tried it once (poem:He stroked her face), and will surely be making use of it again. Enjoyed your double write...informative first part and light-hearted play in the second. /x/ paul

"D" . . . I guess I'm your frequent reader tonight!! I really applaud you experimentation in verse with your recent poems tonight. The "Dimeter" (aka "accentual-syllabic meter") is a fantastic poetic metric to make for a smashing and exciting and quite precise narrative write just like this one you've posted. I up on this stuff a lot because "Yours Truly" too is likewise experimenting with these wonderful tools of the poetic art!! Another Great Job!! A "7" from me too. Cheers!! Gary

nice little poem..I tend to just write sonnets, rhyme and free verse..nette gets me to try all different forms in her contests...one question.. you must listen to celtic music..your avatar..
