The pathless path
I searched far and wide for God’s love and light
but found it not because of self-doubt,
deeming myself as unworthy,
as I was taught to believe.
No wonder then, I sank
in darkness of fear,
heart contracted,
soul shrivelled,
outlook
grim.
Through
the maze,
my soul knew
that divine light
must be deep within
in the cave of my heart,
for is that not where I feel
the humming pulsations of love?
Thus, in staid silence, I became still;
false ego died and then I saw the light!
