The Paraclete

As believing Christians doubt
errantly forgetting God,
He intercedes judiciously,
kindling love mid narcissism.
Our Paraclete,
quenchable, resident Spirit,
teaches us vital wisdom
xenolith, yokefellow, zealot.

I thank you for your commendation-on "The Paraclete" - God's Spirit in residence with those who trust in Him. Xenolith was a gift word spiritually for my thoughts here: A xenolith is a piece of rock that is trapped inside another rock. While I'd never say that God's spirit is "trapped" within us; "embedded" might be a better word. Appreciate your comment, Paula.
