The Pandemic Is Like a Nuclear Bomb

Like a nuclear bomb It is dropped on us with a bam! Kapow! Kapow! Everyone I know has it. It’s a pandemic like no other. Even the Spanish Flu was not this bad. Kapow! Kapow! I am wearing two masks now. Will they be enough? I seriously doubt it. I live in Kansas City. Right now, the nearest hospital bed is eight hours away. Kapow! Kapow!

Wow, I certainly hope you don't get it, Caren. I traveled throughout the south last two weeks, but I wore a mask with few exceptions. I noticed a lot of people without them, though.

hey caren! i've been criticized (gently!) because i am still so cautious but the more i read, the more i think that caution is the only way to go. let's hope this ends at some point...

I am so over this and yet we have 30 children quarantined at my 312 student school right this second. It is so bad in Kansas City that people who need a hospital bed were driving 8 hours to South Dakota, but now their beds are also full.
