The Painter
The lure of mirage
thirst unquenched
hidden hope unperceived.
Wisdom unveils crafty illusion
in life of reality
awareness imbibed.
Shadow of dark clouds
mind masked in shade
concealed dreams unseen.
Silver lining in foresight view
splits into colors of trance
in prism of optimist vision.
Convoluted canvas
deformed unsightly faces
turn into murals of beauty
sparkling with conceived smile
in the enticed sight
of the beholder, the painter.
