The Other Me.
My pain and sorrow from yesterday has subsided,
gone is the anger and frustration that that boiled my blood and poisoned my
mind,
I`m to old to let them know how I fill so I hold it in side.
in my younger years I would have lashed out spoke words that are not to kind.
now an adult with kids and a wife my tongue is tide,
to know my actions my reactions and my words are watched and heard,
so I bite my tongue and say and do whats right the truth I hide.
my fillings mean nothing to those who care childish actions over turned .
was I right when I said what was on my mind uncaring of ones fillings,
to me they don`t care if I hurt or how I fill,
my actions need to be the right one even if there`s are not ...condescending .
if I let out how I fill the real me will be reviled .
so excuse me, my fault, no not at all, I`ll turn the other cheek,
I`ll let you be you while they mold me,
they like me this way old and weak.
I love the one in side the one I long to be.
the one that hides behind this smile who looks from behind dark eyes,
who I was, was a child in rage,
one who never let troubles by.
now that child's locked in a cage.
so look at me the one and only person I`ll be calm, forgiving, loving and carefree,
I hope the doors stay locked for the person I want to be, the one inside the one
you should n`t disrespect, I hope eye to eye you`ll never be.
