The Opposite of a Thief
If the Spirit of God is present
It isn't hard to do good things
The peace I get inside
I would not trade for anything
The fruits of all my labor
Safely guarded by my Savior
A job I would not trade for anything
But what if I have strayed
And God just feels so far away
What kind of peace can reckless thieves proclaim to bring?
If I beside Him on my cross
Was given just one chance to talk
I'd ask of Him another chance to be
The opposite of a thief
