The Only Star For Me
Is my Sun your Sun too?
It beams a light of warm embrace
while shining back at you.
The Sun is fine and does not mind
that we two share its view,
for my Sun is your Sun too.
Is my Moon your Moon too?
Oh, how its phases change through space
while staring back at you.
The Moon is fine and does not mind
that we two share its view,
for my Moon is your Moon too.
Are those Stars your Stars too?
They pierce the night with glittered grace
in glimmering review.
Those Stars are fine and they don't mind
since they're just passing through,
for they know well... my only star is you.
