The Only Star For Me
I wished upon you, and you disappeared,
From the winds of heaven, you flew away my dear.
I searched through this winter night,
only to find my starlight covered in white.
You drifted down from the heavens above,
touching my face with a true love.
I captured your lips upon mine.
With a tantalizing kiss which was so divine,
take not these lips from me for that would be,
a tragedy my sweet Star, so far away from me.
Take not thy heart and give it to another,
for I wish upon you my only starlit night.
