The One In Twenty Twenty-One

ONE IN TWENTY TWENTY-ONE

Happy New Year!
New page in the book of life 
New hope, new chance, new experience
May 2022 bring happiness, wellness, and success 
Just like the recently concluded 2021 
Where I found I was the one!

I was the one and no other than in twenty twenty-one
I was able to face all the challenges
Adapted myself to the new changes
Equipped with faith and optimism 
Spotted more opportunities in the new normal 
Where I found I was the one!

I was the one and no other than in twenty twenty-one
I did my best to accomplish every single duty
With my positivity, I turned witty 
I persevered until I was revered 
I just spared part of my time and percent of my energy
Then, I found I was the one!

I was the one and no other than in twenty twenty-one
I was grateful for all the appreciative people 
I was recognized and given more opportunities
With what I did, I was noticed and awarded
Until the end of the year, and as the new year started
I found I was the one!

I was the one and no other than in twenty twenty-one
Pandemic made me mimic, the best in every scenic
I turned to be resilient and pliant just like the bamboo
Some challenged us, some gave up, some left us
But with faith and optimism, 
I found I was the one!

I was the one and no other than in twenty twenty-one
Everybody can be as good or better than me
No secret to tell just some advice to unhide
“Just give everything a try because if you fail, you’ll not die
Believe on what you conceive, then, let it live
Later, you’ll find you’re the one!

I was the one in twenty twenty-one!
In twenty twenty-two, let’s make it duo
I hope I inspire you as you start anew
Be the one that no one knows 
You can do it in one or two blows
Be the one or let someone!
