The One and Only Jesus Christ
He hung the moon and the stars
He knows our best and worst thoughts
He’s alive – His spirit lives in my heart
While He sits at the right hand of the Father
He fills the morning with brightest sunlight
He gives me grace and mercy throughout life
He whispers to me of His unending promises
As I await His return – to begin living eternally
He uses His paintbrush to awaken the Spring
He gives the Summer flowers endless blooms
He waits for Autumn to caress the tree’s leaves
Without His scriptures, wisdom wouldn’t be
He sends the joyful rainbow after the storm
He reassures me that I will always have Him
He will be with me through good and bad
When I need a friend, it’s Him on whom I depend
He created blue skies for our enjoyment
He gave the birds wings so they could fly
He fills the world with amazing delights
With His love I can know the way, the truth, the life
He sends beautiful music with each breeze
He fulfills my longing to believe in my dreams
He allows me to feel the inspiration from above
Upon angel’s wings, He sends His reassurance
He ignites the passions of poets and artists alike
He sends us beautiful pleasures of faith and hope
He reminds us that our blessings are sent with love
An everlasting compassion that fulfills every want
He is the creator, the author of everything that is
When He lives on the inside, there is a fire to give
From the depths of the spirit, love that is so real
Sent by our Savior, the one and only Jesus Christ!
