The November Holiday Poem
Oh gentle reader I impart unto thee a poem of the turkey for this holiday who's name wasn't
important enough for me to remember.
.................................................................................................
I'd never seen a bird as big
it dwarfs everyone and everything
It keeps indoors and out of the rain
It preserves its shiny pelt this way
I polish it's beak, it eats my bread
it eats everything not attached to my head
In fact I'm close to losing my home.
It forces me to rub it's claws
it beats me if I don't sing a song
it even beats me if I do
it bites me when it sings along
it ate half my nose.
It takes its beauty naps on my back
I have aches now but it just laughs
its mean to me
since the day I didn't watch the gun rack
I've been slave to a turkey.

Thank you for reading this, you can sleep now. HA HA HA!
