The Noble and the lonely
Being noble is not always the way to go,
When telling the one you love to go
Because you think you know,
What is best for the one you love,
Even though you Know,
You will end up lonely without her love.
Never knowing what she thought was best,
Before you sent her west.
Being lonely is never for the best,
When you let go one of the best,
Because you thought you knew best.
I think you may have failed that test,
And now all you can do is go to your rest,
Lonely at best,
And raising a glass to your knowing best,
At worst.
