The Night Sky

As the sun is getting ready to go to bed,                                                  where will it lay it's head.                                                                          The light will now shed,                                                                              for darkness needs to spread.                                                                    The pretty night sky,                                                                              makes me want to cry.                                                                                Can you hear the full moon,                                                                          is it playing a love tune.                                                                            The twinkling far off stars,                                                                             I wonder if they really go to mars.                                                              The stars look like diamonds across the many acres,                                   could their beauty be for matchmakers.                                                        For the beauty one cannot buy,                                                                     it will make me want to just sigh.
