THE NEVER CHANGING ROAD
Life is a straight road
Sometimes it bends, corkscrews or whips
But it never waivers from where its eye is leading it
Like a lemming it knows its destination
As young people, on the other hand, we think
We’re on the ride of our lives
And everything and anything goes
Not knowing where our future path lies
Time is linear and so are our lives
All things we know to be true
Are on a linear path
Like our spirits
As we know religion is necessary
So should true faith be
But their paths are not linear
An anomaly in the glitch of time, maybe?
Rely on these two and you’ll find yourself in
God’s dog house for the dammed
But never fear, there is salvation in the spirit
When we join the all powerful spirit of the Lord.
