Notes About The Poem

The Mystery of Humpty Dumpty Has Been Cracked

Humpty Dumpty never ever sat on a wall 
In reality he was very much an odd ball
I understand he drank far too much alcohol
And he also suffered from high cholesterol

He switched places, someone was his fall guy
And this fall guy told everyone that he could fly
His head got smashed in, the eggspert did die
Now he’s been scrambled and resides in the sky

In truth Humpty’s deception could never be foiled
for if he sits out in the sun he’d soon be hard boiled
