The Music of Life
I hear life's music in the breeze
and it fills me with anticipation as it rustles the trees.
I smell the green grass
when in Spring it grows,
just another sign of how life flows.
I feel the Summer sunshine upon my skin.
I hear the sound of waves on the beach rolling in.
The sand is wet and little sandcrabs scatter.
They play with my toes and run when I move.
It's great to feel free and in life's groove.
The crysanthemums are blooming and I pick one to smell.
"What a wonderful Autumn day", I to myself tell.
Why are you sleeping?
Come with me.
Let's play in the leaves! Let's climb a tree!
School is out.
Let's sing and shout.
Christmas is coming and Winter is calling.
Let's make a snowman and slide down the hill.
We'll drink hot chocolate if we get a chill.
Let's dance and sing.
Let the music of life ring!
