The Mouse with the Hat

Montague mouse wants to purchase a hat “Why do you need that,” asked milliner cat Montague replied, “It’s so that I can marry” I must wear a nice hat for when I wed Barry” “Barry told me that he won’t leave the house If I don’t wear a titfer,” said Montague mouse So please create a rainbow hat – it mustn’t be grey And I’ll wear it with gay pride on our wedding day! The wedding hat’s embellished with feathers of pink An apple, an orange and trimmed with soft lilac mink!

Jan, you managed to produce a very cool piece here. The picture and the message are good and drive home the idea of getting along. The cat as milliner was an inspiration. Smiles!!

That’s some bad hat, Harry’. Might I recommend the addition of a little cheese triangle ;-) Enjoyed, Jan. All the best in Miranda’s contest. Terry

Well now what kind of grand look would it have been for Montague to have been wed in a top hat the same color as his furry little body? I'm sure he looked quite dapper. Cute lines, Jan.

What’s wrong with wearing a top hat the same colour as one’s little furry body?… I got no complaints

A very cute poem. It sounds like it would look nice on everyone. ? Hats finish the look. I wear one most of the time.

I wear a hat but its a knitted one as it can be terribly windy here, i do have a floppy summer hat that is foldable for travel and another hat i wear in the car for the odd sunny day and the sun is low for driving! hugs jan xx
