The Morning Sky
I awake this morning feeling the clouds
Thundering from the mysterious blue sky
And something abstruse is bidding me goodbye
The shadows of life overwhelmed me
and rage is silently growing inside me
My tears have been welled up for days
And my soul is yearning for a quite place to stay
I longed to hear running water gushing from the hill
Birds singing in the tree tops with sweet music chiming in
I hunger for that tender hour when I can enjoy life's splendor
To mingle with people of my caliber and sing in the grand opera
At nights my spirit is not silent and my soul crys out loudly
I can feel stones grinding in the mill
And the melting ice covering the shapeless earth
The language of life is having its toll
weeping within the mesmerizing circle
And something miraculous is trying to come in
Not pressed for time but it continues to move slowly
Making its way to the battle ground
I buried myself between the tall trees
watching the sky grumbling above
And rebuking the secrecy that surrounds me
I watched mankind sin's hanging from the trees
Staring at them in the dark holding on to his lifeless heart
The power of God ambushed me
and a bright moon engulf me
I am sad but not broken
I am hurt but motivated
I can still feel the soul of nature around me
And the presence of God watching over me
